Stupid Home Pt. 2

Okay... Dinner's over.... Time for the rest of the entry.

So this is the email Mommy Dearest sent to me, my brother, and my father.

If we live with these, life will be smooth in our home. And for the record, these apply to all of us, not just Mallory. (What the fuck ever!)

1. Show respect for others:
Tell the truth - No lying
Fulfill commitments - keep promises, work as scheduled
Respond respectfully to requests - watch our attitudes
Take care of our home - wash clothes routinely, no food or dishes left upstairs, pick up after oneself
Communicate our plans, who we'll be with, what time we'll be home.

2. No illegal drug usage of any kind, this includes alcohol for those under 21.

3. Take medications as prescribed. As much as we don't like it, it will make 1, 2 and 4 much easier to live with!

4. No inappropriate sexual behavior. Part of the definition of inappropriate can be defined as no clothing or accessories with suggestive or gay-labeling slogans or logos. It can also include attention seeking behavior and certainly includes sex outside of marriage. We'll have to trust you with this one. (Smartass bitch!)

5. No new tattoos or piercings. (Dad will have to give up the idea of putting a sunshine on his butt!)

In return, Mom and Dad commit to:

1. Reasonable expectations regarding your social schedule. Only rarely will we object to what time you come home and we will not ask you to stay home or return early without cause. (Hahahahaha!!!!)
2. We will continue to pay a portion of your car insurance.
3. We will assist with your car service as needed.
4. We will provide your lodging and food and some other expenses (i.e., clothes or personal necessities).
5. We will help with school expenses upon request. (Make me grovel much?)
6. If /when you decide to move out and these have been followed to that time, we will assist with finding suitable car insurance, apartment searches, looking for furniture, advising on car tags and licensing, finding renter's insurance, determining what deposits must be paid, working on budgets, and we'll consider anything else you ask.

And no matter what, we'll love you and care about you. (Love, yes... Care? Hmmm.)

Mom

Well isn't that speeeecial? Hmm?

It doesn't just apply to me, huh? Notice that she didn't add the stipulation that if I live with a girlfriend... all offers are null and void. She didn't put it in there... but that's how it is.

Aside. I fucking HATE Mother Nature this week. Goddammit. Grrr grrr grrrrrrr!!!!

So I need to move out. I'm twenty years old and I can't spend the night at my girlfriend's house... even though they have her number, my room is clean, and I don't have work the next morning. Because she's my girlfriend.... And Mommy Dearest just can't handle that. She'll lose sleep. Blah blah blah....

I know I'm in the wrong, too. I do have an attitude. I don't try to spend time at home anymore. I change plans frequently on them. But I quit lying about where I was and who I was with. If I'm at Kelly's... I'm at Kelly's. If we're goin' to da club... I tell them so. If I'm supposed to be home by three... I'll try and bargain... but I'll be home at three. What the fuck else do thay want???

Oh yeah... Mallory to be straight and Christian with all the appropriate "Yes, ma'am"'s and "No, ma'am"'s in place. Fucking long shot, isn't it?

*sigh* I hope all of this crap is fixed soon.... I don't feel like writing anymore.
