Job - Week's Schedule
Whew. I got the job at Outback. And this week is gonna be mega-ultra-tough/stressful, too.
Sunday - Outback orientation from noon until about 2:30. Take in all the information. Wash clothes and eat dinner at Dad's. Make and study note cards. SLEEP!
Monday - Be on Poplar at 7:30 am to work the three towers with Dad. Study my ass off for the menu test. Possibly go buy new tennis shoes. Work at Fed. SLEEP!
Tuesday - Be at Outback in uniform at 8:00 am for menu class. Take test. Watch "Passions". Grocery shop? Work at Fed. SLEEP!
Wednesday - Be at Outback at 10:00? to work expo with Coy. Train some in ToGo. Work at Fed. SLEEP!
Thursday and Friday - Be at Outback at 10:30. Train for a full shift. 11:00 to 4:00. Work at Fed.
Saturday - Absolutely no plans. Thank gawd.
Got some bills to pay this week. Got some of the apartment to clean. La de da de daaa....
Kelly called me today to ask how my first day was. I told her about all of it and how excited I am. And... that was it. When I was done and she didn't really say anything... I just paused and said, "Okay. Um, I guess I'll talk to you later. I love you." Pause again for response. "Bye." And... like I said... that was it. Don't get me wrong. I'm really glad she called. I just wish... Shit. I don't know what I wish...... I just wish I could smile when I hang up with her rather than dumdly stare at the coffee table, you know?
Anyway... I'm going to get to work now. This cracked out keyboard is driving me insane. Dad spilled something on it... I don't know. Gonna make note cards so I can pass this damn menu test. Ciao.
